This, unexpectedly, articulated to me why I don't recommend most of Russian
literature to my kid. It tends to take people to other realms, darker ones
at that, and just dump them there without developing any filters - as the
authors themselves either never learned to cope constructively (Dostoyevsky)
or just followed the tradition of not providing filters to readers.
