Hi,

last february I had to leave this discussion about why and how
everybody should run his own email server hanging (*), due to lack of
time:

there is an error in the assumption above. Running an email server
_does_ require proper *configuration*, sure. But to run an email
server you don't need to be a programmer, just like you don't need at
all to be a mechanic to drive a car, and for the same reasons. I run
my own email server and I didn't have to write, debug or compile one
line of code to do it. I have explained this in more detail at:
