A nice example of crowd funding: Pioneer One [1] is a SciFi show that is
pre-funded by donations via Kickstarter [2] and their own website. The show
is distributed under a CC-by-nc-sa license via VODO [3], a coalition of
websites and P2P trackers that distributes indie films.
