 Dear Michel,

Not sure if I mentioned before, that I was going to take up a faculty
appointment in Nanyang Technological University. I’ve started last week, and
found this call for research proposal. I was thinking of doing something on
Asian immigrants in Singapore and France, and their use of social media, but
will need a French collaborator. As you can see, there are good implications
for p2p research. Are you interested to be involved in this work, and do you
know of any researchers from France within our network who might be
interested to collaborate? The grant also requires industry partners. I can
look for partners from the industry, but would welcome any other suggestions
too.

Dear all

We are pleased to inform you that the *MERLION 2010 PROGRAM – Call for Joint
Franco-Singapore Research Projects Proposals* is open for application.

This call and the subsequent support for the selected projects aim to create
new, and/ or strengthen existing scientific cooperation between France and
Singapore researchers.  Projects submitted must be a collaborative research
effort involving a French and a Singapore-based partner.

Applicants are invited to submit their proposals online (and not by any
other means) to facilitate the subsequent downloading of the proposals for
evaluation.

The deadline for the call for proposals is *31 August 2010, 5pm French Time*.
(Completed files must be sent before this date.  Files with missing
documents and information will not be examined).

Applicants are requested to submit a duplicate copy of the full set of
application documents to: rso-external-grants at ntu.edu.sg  by 31 August
2010.
