I actually agree with this.  I am for a minimum earning for all humans
whether they produce or not.

Lula is either a fool or a great man.  Still trying to make up my mind.  He
has done many good things for Brazil which places him in high contrast to,
say, Chavez who seems to have really hurt Venezueala...though Vez.'s stock
market is one the best performing in the last few years!

I am against free riding when a person has been granted education.  I
actually think the US model of limited-time social safety nets is far
superior to the European model that encourages so many to waste their lives
in minimally productive pursuits.  I also agree with the right that
governments have typically been hugely wasteful.  That is now changing.  The
change will be hard...as it will be in higher ed.
