[p2p-research] ASCAP Declares War on Free Culture

The great event will come when a major organization (e.g. the Beatles) moves
their oeuvre into the public domain voluntarily at some juncture.  Been
waiting for this.  When that happens...it will cause an avalanche.  It will
be the idea of giving something to the public as a final act...that is far
more compelling heroism than having ancestors loving you for making their
lives financially easy.
