[p2p-research] 1992 versus 2010 -- Haiti

When war broke out in the Gulf some 20 years ago, CNN made its mark by being
the go-to source for news.

Last night, while the Caribbean wondered what had happened in Haiti, CNN
showed pictures of maps and then resorted to Skype, Facebook and Twitter to
get news.

It would be absurd not to call these P2P technologies in ascendance.
Twitter has yet to make a dime.  Facebook will never be profitable...nor
will Skype.  How are these not wins?
