[p2p-research] is barter taxable

I hired a tax attorney for this one and her response (United States) is that
Bartering is called 'inputted income' and therefore taxable. However, that
tax can be offset by any expenses incurred during the transfer of said
goods\services. In selecting a bartering network software platform for my
NPO, I had to take this into consideration.
