Hi Alex:

I know well of Martin from my Virginia Tech days (he's at UVa).  Very smart
and unconventional fellow.  I wouldn't discount his views.  I also follow
Stratfor fairly closely...a defense oriented international policy tool.
They've been saying similar things for some time.  Not sure if Martin is
influencing Stratfor or vice versa.  The narrative is definitely
consistent.
