Auctions for Free Stuff - Listia.com <http://www.listia.com/>

By joining this Site, you become a member of a community for free auctions.
Each member lists auctions for items he or she is willing to give away for
free. Upon signup, you may receive a certain number of free credits for
bidding in the marketplace (limit one set of free credits per user). For
each item that you give away, you can earn a certain number of credits based
on the outcome of the auction. With your credits, you can bid on auctions in
the marketplace from other members, who will either arrange for a local
pickup or ship them to you at either your expense or theirs.

*Listia <http://www.listia.com>*
Listia is an “eBay for free
stuff<http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/08/05/listia-is-an-awesome-way-to-give-and-get-free-stuff/>
“.

http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/08/05/listia-is-an-awesome-way-to-give-and-get-free-stuff/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+Techcrunch+(TechCrunch)<http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/08/05/listia-is-an-awesome-way-to-give-and-get-free-stuff/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+Techcrunch+%28TechCrunch%29>

Users don’t bid cash for items, rather they bid points that they get for
free for signing up, listing items and referring friends. That means the
winner is the person who wanted the item the most and was willing to bid the
most points. The lister doesn’t have to deal with a lot of emails, and the
no-show risk is minimized.
