Dear friends,
Thanks for considering this request.
I participated in a renewable energy related event in Riga.
there are 2 requests here:
1) to write an article, that I would like to co-sign, on distributed
renewable energy; they have a general text on p2p from me, and I don't see
myself having the time to add a section on the importance of distributed
energy developments; any candidates?
2) Rasa has asked for reco's on possible participants to a renewable energy
(p2p-oriented) workship in december in Riga ...
I cc'ed Sam, Smari and chris watkins. Am I forgetting anyone that might be
interested?
Michel

Subject: thanks and about Renewable Energy Network future plans
To: Michel Bauwens <michelsub2004 at gmail.com>
Dear Michel,
With a little delay, but now - when well recovered after the festival, i
would like to say you - thanks a lot for your invaluable contribution to the
Energy festival! It was so great to have you here
In a case, if you are interested to join the "renewable" network, you can
subscribe to "renewable" mailinglist either here:
http://db.x-i.net/mailman/listinfo/renewable
(or just mail me, i can subscribe you)
but i know you have your own list :) so may be we can better think of how to
make cross-connections sometimes?
An other thing is - that we are planning to publish ENERGY book/reader (it
will be peer-reviewed publication) - would be great, if you could write and
contribute text for it --
or can we publish your text which you already sent me? let me know what you
think!
Deadline for full text (10 000 - 12 000 characters, but can be longer, no
need to make it shorter for this publication :): January 30, 2010
Next Renewable network meeting, what we will organize will be the planning
workshop in Riga, December 3-6, in the framework of "Organized Network"
seminar event
for this, we will also have special Peer-to-peer workshop session (with
Andrew Paterson), so we might be in touch with you regarding some ideas,
etc.
unfortunaly Ned Rossiter can't come for this event, but he also will help
with setting up one of workshop programmes
(may be you can suggest an interesting "network" speaker? we still are
looking for some more participants)
