Very much so.

I took the liberty to repost it here:

by the way, I found a way to arrange with Clear Village to be in Barcelona,

http://www.clear-village.org/lab

The CLEAR Village Lab is a three-day, immersive event gathering together
passionate professionals from a variety of disciplines to create the
masterplan strategy for a real-life sustainable village.

The intention of this initiative is not to build a ‘perfect place’, but
rather to foster a dynamic, living community which embraces principles,
technologies and forms of governance that allow for a more sustainable
future of living and can provide a benchmark for other communities to
follow.

The 2009 Lab is the first in a series which will develop the masterplan
through multiple phases until building is ready to commence. At this first
CLEAR Village Lab participants will be allowed the space to contribute as
openly, creatively and emotionally as they wish.

I will try to convince them to address solutions that are really
replicable throughout the world an not just in affluent European
circumstances.

Down that page - http://www.clear-village.org/lab - are some interesting
people who might resonate with that goal

for example Nathaniel Corum, Carolyn Steel (! see her talking and also my
rant on Steward Brand in the comments section to her TED talk at
http://transitionculture.org/2009/10/07/carolyn-steel-on-how-food-shapes-our-cities/)

and they have opened a NING also.

I did a first blog post there and want to extend it to a series of
observations....maybe also to the article Vassilis might still wait for....
