I don't discount that Blair meant well, and that the lies were done "in the
interest of the good" ... but of course, the way is paved with good
intentions ... including ours ..

but I must admit I never really understood that blind alignment with the
U.S. ... it puzzles me .. he basically destroyed his career and the future
of his party with it ... without it, labour had not done a bad job ...
(within the reality of neoliberal constraints)
