Stat of the day: Are we witnessing the death of print media? Not quite yet,
it seems. Newspaper circulation grew 1.3 percent worldwide last year,
according the World Association of Newspapers. Growth in Africa, Latin
America, and Asia offset declines in Europe and the United States.
My comment:
The most populous parts of the world are just now moving into modes of
production that are being abandoned at the core. There is no clear evidence
that things will be accelerated in these locations.
