If it's a reaction that causes you to mischaracterize the arguments of
others, to draw invalid conclusions as to their implications, and to
reject on a reflexive basis arguments that have some validity as
descriptions of objective reality, then IMO it is most definitely an
over-reaction.  Inaccurate perceptions of reality do not become a
virtue just because they are formed in response to genuine evils.
Doing an injustice to others out of reaction to another, greater
injustice, is still injustice.
