I commented that I am surprised we don't have crawlers in blog readers.
When I used to work at a stock exchange as a product design guy, the future
was more types of data on a screen...video, crawlers, focus points. I'm
surprised google's attempts to build up more formidable versions of iGoogle
haven't gone better.

There is a balance that will arise between mobility versus the glitz of a
full-screen mode. I expect we will soon have roll-out thin film screens
that can be sized to a given available real estate. No need for screens to
be rigid of course. Something like a pen could spread out into
an iPhone-like device or be locked into a full roll-out mode of 8x24 inches
or something. You could then rapidly add windows of functionality a la
iGoogle.

It is also odd that some people think of paper as a permanent medium.
