I am still skeptical that even Obama admin will address change in open
commons-based ways, for local economies. I am not yet seeing this language
coming out of Obama admin.

But, it is very early.

We have a democratic Governor here in Michigan, who is very closely aligned
with Obama, and they have not been receptive to enabling open commons-based
economies. Although, they of course do at least acknowledge that taxpayer
money is commons, and that social services, and environmental protections,
etc need to flow from that taxpayer money pool.

Anyway, they *may* be receptive to the argument that working in the way that
Michel is proposing could come in at a lower cost, and yield higher returns.


So, I agree that it is worth putting this in front of them.
