Hi,
Ive just finished my masters in fine art. Our show is opening Moday 8th at
the University of Ulster if anyone happens to be in Belfast.
I'll certainly make some contributions to the P2P Art wiki.
Do I need a password?
I know many artists and artworks that have P2P-ish aspects to their works
but are not fully pure P2P in accordance with the P2P definition. Mostly
because unless the artist is working specifically in the immaterial sphere
(new media art or software art) the art product is usually owned by the
artist or a gallery. Though there are also many artists working for whom the
artwork is not an object but a social experience. Where such an experience
is created in a participatory manner I believe it would constitute P2P.
Suzanne Lacy inititates social interventions as art.
In her Oakland project she organised young people to challenge how they
where being represented in the media.

Here is some participatory Media Art - They Rule by Josh On

Of course Superflex also with their Copyshop and FreeBeer -

Ok
I have to go now
All the best
