Hi Ryan,
full peer production would be voluntary contribution for use value,
participatory process of development, and commons oriented output.
In this system, of distributed labour, are different teams set up against
each other, in exchange for a prize/award going to one of them ... this
would be production for the exchange value of the prize
Then what about the output, does it become private property of the award
giver? or does it stay in the commons?
So, it seems like the 'outsourcing' of research through awards, and the
result is probably proprietary ...
So there p2p aspects of this are limited to the open participation process?
