Greetings everyone

Raj Patel has a new book out - it's called *The Value of Nothing* and was
written in response to the financial crisis. It's designed to be an
accessible and popular text - the sort of thing that Naomi Klein does. It
draws on the work of quite a few of the people who were at Crotoff and the
commons is a thread running throughout the book. There may not be much that
is new to serious students of the commons but if anyone is looking for an
accessible overview - written with wit and verve - then this will be a very
useful book.
