[p2p-research] EU Funding Opportunity and Open RFPs

Hi All,

Check out this potential for an e-participation pilot project with the
EU. The submission deadline is about a month away. While I and other
folks at Collabforge are interested, we are already slammed this
month. Besides, we'd need European proxies to head this up.

This gave me an idea which could apply to lots of RFPs like this:

- We make an Open RFP google group.
- Anyone who is looking for partners for a project could dump the RFP
into a page, for group comments
- Members of the group could then work out some agreement for how to
apply for the job together.

For reference, Sunlight Labs attempted something similar earlier this year:
http://www.sunlightlabs.com/blog/2009/06/17/we-are-going-bid-recoverygov/

I think such a list might fit nicely into the OpenKollab ecology, and
could be called "OK RFP" or some such.

So two questions:
1. what do you think of the proposed OK RFP group?
2. anyone want to team up on this EU project?

Cheers,
Matt Cooperrider
