[p2p-research] tale of a stolen computer

Dell has decent laptops (with builtin webcam, large screen, etc) for just
under $500.

If there are ten of us here able to donate $50 each .... that would do it.

You know what's missing in all those online payment systems that's a great
opportunity for a new startup is a way for multiple people to contribute to
the price of a purchase, securely, such that the order is not done (and all
funds refundable after a certain period of time where the order is held
waiting for full funds) until the full price is paid for, by however number
of contributors.
