Filling in the blanks as per my experience with P2Pf over the course of 6
months now

1. It's more than just the peer production process. It's the peer driven
economy, and more generally a peer driven society.

2. AFAIK, the research is sometimes produced individually through a process
of iterative feedback from willing/interested/engaged peers (see e.g. the
individual author pages on P2Pf wiki) and sometimes it's produced by several
peers (see all other P2Pf wiki pages)
