Thanks for the pdf.
Being here, deep among the unmoved movers, I'll see what insights I can gain
from your work as we try to introduce collaboration and "commons" based
approaches to people who struggle to regain cultural knowledge they lost
generations ago.
One project in particular that holds promise is
http://socialsynergyweb.org/oardc/main-group where we are helping people
learn to use participatory media to build competing infrastructure based
around local foods, local agriculture. The only way for them to do it is to
collaborate as stakeholders, and participants in the chain from producer to
user/consumer. Just a little bit of participatory media has helped, by way
of opening up channels of communication. We've barely used it to it's
potential.
In this geographic region, a lot of people don't see what they are doing as
"socialism", but rather as mutual, voluntary cooperation, and collaboration.
