*Thinking Allowed about Cultural Theory on Radio 4*
*
*Eminent and amusing broadcaster and one time Professor of Sociology Laurie
Taylor has interviewed Michael Thompson about his latest book *Organising
and Disorganising* <http://triarchypress.co.uk/pages/book16.htm>, alongside
Professor John Gray, who retired earlier this year from a very distinguished
academic career. The broadcast went out on November 26th. John Gray found
Michael's concepts "very refreshing" and I'd like to invite you to refresh
yourself by listening to their exchanges. Himalayan mountaineering,
climate change, political theory and the sterility of rational management
are some of the topics explored; you will also hear a clear and concise
explanation of the core ideas of Cultural Theory.
You can find out more about the broadcast on the Thinking Allowed
website<http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/thinkingallowed/thinkingallowed_20081126.shtml>,
hear the broadcast<http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/thinkingallowed/rams/thinkingallowed_20081126.ram>again
or listen to the
podcast<http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio4/ta/ta_20081126-1602c.mp3>
.

Disorganising*<http://triarchypress.co.uk/pages/book16.htm>is the
