The April issue of the OSBR is now available at the OSBR website

approach for implementing open source telecom solutions that meet business
needs.

Edy Ferreira from Carleton University discusses recent research into a
classification of market offers from companies making money with open
hardware.

Minjeong Kim from Hawaii Pacific University explores the findings from a
recent study that examined the uses of Creative Commons licenses.

Tony Bailetti from Carleton University and Doug Levin from Black Duck
Software provide key messages from their recent presentations regarding
business ecosystems and the current state of software development.

Gerald from the VoIP community answers the question "when will convergence
occur?"

Rowland Few introduces the Open Source for Ontario Companies inventory.

The Recent Reports section includes the results from two studies: The
Emergence of Governance in an Open Source Community, and The Australian Open
Source Industry & Community Report 2008.

Seneca College, the Eclipse Foundation, and Open Source Health
Collaboration are featured in the Newsbytes and there are over a dozen
Canadian conferences in the Upcoming Events.
