General Error from the I/O subsystem, try GetLastError() to find out what.

CAM_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED

You forget some required initialization function

CAM_ERROR_INVALID_VIDEO_SETTINGS

Somehow, you snuck invalid video settings into the system

CAM_ERROR_BUSY

The camera is acquiring or capturing images and whatever you tried to do would break it

CAM_ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES

Usually happens when a GlobalAlloc fails, which is almost never

CAM_ERROR_PARAM_OUT_OF_RANGE

Some parameter you passed is out of range (usually NULL)

CAM_ERROR_FRAME_TIMEOUT

The call to AcquireImage() timed out; the current image buffer contains invalid data
