Track 10: Embedded and Networked Control in Collaborative Manufacturing

Track 10 follows two highly successful OOONEIDA Special Sessions in Berlin at INDIN 2004 and in Perth at INDIN 2005, and track in Singapore at INDIN 2006. Next year it will focus on the following topics:

• Standards, Architectures (e.g. IEC 61499 and beyond), Platforms, Tools and Methodologies enabling Intelligent Control in Industrial Automation;

• Reconfigurable and self-configurable systems;

• Plug and play of automated systems

• Ambient information environments in enterprise and beyond

• Communications within and between embedded systems

• Object-oriented and model-based engineering

• Remote maintenance

• Security solutions

• Fault-tolerant architectures and systems;

• Formal models and methods

Two special sessions are integrated within the track:

1. Execution semantics of IEC 61499 Function Block Applications

2. Downtimeless reconfiguration of distributed automation systems
