No, and it is usually linked to other personality problems. "Normal" MPS
is hardly anything I would want; I prefer the transhuman version
(MPE, Multiple Personality Enhancement?).

For a fictional treatment of MPE, see Walter John William's _Aristoi_,
where practically all people have AI-supported independent
subpersonalities doing multitask work.
