What's wrong with a variety? We're supposed to be moderately
technically proficient, perhaps someone might code a java
implementation, so placing the cursor over a link brings up a short
hotlist of a variety of pages relating to it.
I'd also like to see more pages (mayhaps this faq?) using the
'backlinks' concept .. http://www.foresight.org/backlinks.news.html has
some practical suggestions, & some more broad inf. @
www.foresight.org/enhance.html .
If not putting up a java-based 'extropians-faq', the html-based one may
at least want to add some of the more recent w3c-accepted html
extensions like a frames-based menu system.
Just to be trite (but hey, you can't argue w/free marketing), putting up
higher-res full-screen 'wallpaper' shots of the logo & 'slug' (upwards &
outwards, or something equivalently pithy) &c. for d/l might be memeful.
On the especially trite end, has anyone taken a look at the
libertarians' moderately leading (heck, nothing's really objective when
it comes right down to it) 'World's Smallest Political Quiz'? The aroma
of cheese may turn off the more vegan aesthetes ;), but it does manage
to spread the meme with some success .. an html-based equivalent for
extropianism might help draw in a few.
