Many times. I have even had people wanting to cryopreserve bodies already in the grave, the latest being a lady whose baby had been buried more than a month (of course CryoCare doesn't take these sorts of cases, and I don't think any cryo org would). But as for people who have just been pronounced dead, there are, I would imagine, several patients in dewars who were frozen under similar circumstances.
