dan im suggesting the elimination of english measurements. i proposed
it to the engineering society to which i belong in a technical paper several
years ago, but the suggestion fell on deaf ears. perhaps english measures
will
be one of those memes, like taliban and other oppressive religious systems,
that must gradually wear out instead of being violently overthrown. {8-[
