Earth seeded from Venus

"Tommy the Terrorist", on rec.arts.sf.science, has suggested linking the
500 million year old crust of Venus and our Cambrian explosion.
Venusian civilization destroyed itself, but seeded Earth?
(Based on meteor crater distribution, the entire crust of Venus is
thought to be 500 million years old. This suggests total liquefaction then.)
