There's been much interest here in the Revolutionary Association of the women
of Afghanistan, as an Afghani group whose goals seem relatively compatible
with humanism and modernism.
A RAWA representative with the nom de resistance Tahmeena Faryal is speaking
at several greater LA locations this week, including the USC Taper forum
tonight (11/12/01) at 6:30 PM.
