The place where definitions most belong is next to philosophical
exposition, and rational argument. Collecting some common definitions
of everything in one place, separated from specific uses, is less
sensible. I won't say it's completely useless (it does make
communication quicker and easier), it just doesn't help describe
any actual facts of reality in any useful detail.
