And here is where our information diverges. If, indeed, modifying the
spin is impossible for Alice, then you are right: that method won't
work. If it is possible to modify the spin, then your argument falls
apart on that statement.
I was told that modifying the spin is similar, possibly identical, to
how quantum computers modify their outputs to come up with results. If
that information is correct, then it seems likely that spin
modification is possible, for it has been demonstrated in laboratories
that functioning quantum computers can exist.
