Huh? Do you mean spiritual systems validate the value of the
way of being or that they simply validate the way of being?
If the latter, what validates the value of the way of being?
Or is this a flowery way of saying that the "exercises and
practices" re-enforce some desired behaviour? I'd agree that
some spiritual/religious practises are probably useful for
"engineering" ones behaviour (many people perform personal
rituals to motivate themselves, overcome fear, etc).
