Consider the tone of this communiqué: http://www.idf.il/english/news/homefront_jump.stm
Note how, though the emotions are sincere, it's pretty much a routine matter in Israel.
Consider how near we in the USA might be to such. Time to cut the hysterical crap:
"Oh, my gosh, the media says another terrorist attack is 'likely'!!" Not a news flash.
Each and every one of us needs to start making ourselves a harder target, against
enemies foreign and domestic.
May we all:
* Practice diplomacy, courtesy and kindness. "Is this argument necessary?"
* Practice Noisy Honesty whenever it matters. "Is this new government action necessary?"
* Practice healthy skepticism. "Why is this person telling me this?"
* Practice courage as a way of life. "Is _that_ the best you've got?"
Bless you,
Mike
