I agree. Personally, I care enough about the issues to fly the peacetime
flag anyway, if I had anywhere to fly a flag. But I agree that common
fashion sense or simple inertia is sufficient to explain the nonuse of the
peacetime flag, without reference to more sinister motives on anyone's
part.
