Yes, if "What Women Want" loses to "Unbreakable", that would be neither
surprising, nor unacceptable. (Though "Unbreakable" doesn't have the
sheer craftmanship that won a Hugo for "Sixth Sense".) I'm just saying
that I'll be voting for "What Women Want". Now, if WWW loses to D&D,
after "The Matrix" lost to "Galaxy Quest" last year, that would be the
final indictment of the Hugo criteria as simpleminded fannish pandering
rather than excellence in movie-making.
