Harvey is right, doggone him. That finding bits in a photo
idea would be easy to crack. Heres an alternative.

If instead of using a photo, one could use a digital
recording of an obscure song. That way, all the message
receivers could get an identical copy of the bitstream
from which bytes can be extracted, from the local
record store. The actual message could be encoded
in such a way as to sound like background noise in
a rap song, like that ooooh-eeeeh-ooooh-eeeeh
noise the rappers make by rocking a phonograph back
and forth. Since that sound is already pretty much
random noise, there is no reason to suspect that
it is really the data addresses of individual bytes
in a recording of Carpenter's Love Songs.
