>Quite some time ago (a year? more?), I believe someone posted a reference to a good book that goes into considerable detail about proper exercise form. I seem to recall that there was a later "personal trainers'" version of the book as well.<

I don't recall, Michael.

What type of exercise program and style are you looking for? Aerobics, anaerobic, or stretch? For aerobic, I'd suggest speed walking; for anaerobic - weightlifting, and for strecht - yoga.

Anaerobic: An Introduction to Olympic-Style Weightlifting by John, M. Cissik http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0070434883/qid=999187927/sr=1-1/ref=sc_b_1/103-9257684-7055003

Aerobic: I prefer speed walking to running (running is rough on the spine). Check out amazon for a good speed walking or running book. I thini there was a series of "Zen of ..." books (I have one for skiing); but I checked of you and they are out of print for jogging. I don't have a recommendation for speed walking.

Stretch: Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class by Bikram Choudhury. **** I studied in his class at the Yoga College of India for 3 years. Best yoga I've ever tried. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1585420204/qid=999188186/sr=2-1/103-9257684-7055003
