Pierre Boulle, of course, was the French author whom we may thank for the novel
that was the basis for the "Planet of the Ape" films. However, Boulle's novel
was originally titled Monkey Planet, not Planet of the Apes. Unfortunately, in
this day and age, we have to put up with a new book entitled Planet of the Apes
Movie Novelization by William T. Quick! This is no joke, look it up.
It's ISBN is 006107635X. Instead, this is the 21st Century that humans
have created.
