I'm one of those crazy 100% libertarians. I find it amusing, since only a
few years ago I would most likely have been a centrist or left liberal; I
have steadily drifted into the libertarian quadrant and become more extreme
in my views. Somehow I had imagined that as I got older my views would
soften, but perhaps it is just that I'm turning adolescent :-)
With life extension it is going to be interesting to see how people change
politically as they grow older, acquire more experience (possibly wisdom)
and change. Will people eventually end up with permanent political views
(given an unchanging political environment, in itself unlikely), or will we
over time drift?
