This is the problem many people have with infinity: they see it as
something finite, just bigger -- but it isn't. Infinity can expand and
become infinitely bigger with no problems. Infinity + infinity = infinity.
The name "Steady State" just refers to the condition of the universe. It
doesn't refer to position or movement. The idea is that the universe is
roughly the same all over no matter where you go in time or space, and that
our place in time and space is not a special or priveleged one.
