Of course, the state gets a terrific return on its investment in
public education, for the values taught there tend to create great
armies of wage slaves, which then dutifully pay taxes and perpetuate
the system. Note that I am not actually criticizing this system, as
one who received 12 years of public education.
Those who had public education are welcome to counterexample,
but my notion is that public schools encourage joining the ranks
of the corporation, the joys of a 9 to 5 etc, but do not really help in
giving one the skills and values of an entrepreneur or an innovator.
The private schools do this better. spike
