Ok, I'm not gonna get up on that soapbox right now, just wanted to make the
point that, the more I think about it, the more the subject of this thread
makes sense. In a very large sense, Capitalism is like a religion. It is a
system of moral beliefs and ideas. Granted, theres no supernatural
component, but I might go so far to say that Capitalism IS the religion of
the rationalist. Im not talking blind faith here, the idea of rational blind
faith is an oxymoron. But none the less, a rational morality would have to
develop Capitalism (I would say its not developed per se, it is simply the
result of a rights based system).
