Well, I've suggested that much of what is described as "spiritual" by people
who are not supernaturalists is better described as being of aesthetic
value. But this sounds prissy and weak. We seem to need a stronger word.
I still don't like the word "spiritual" and its cognates but I *think* I'm
starting to understand why pipple feel the need to use them.
