This is why I adored Smantha's self descriptive "overactive god module" ; )
She has experience of it - yet sees it as what it is. A part of *her*. Very
wise and droll.
Across and throughout cultures the god myth is a way of describing the
"opening" up of our minds to wonder, awe, and gratitude for the great power.
This power is best described as the "totality", or sum, of all the myriad
the things we can sense and describe. A word that attempts to describe
something that words cannot: An *experience* obtained by humans to varying
degress. It is sometimes called an awareness of being attuned to all things.
You may have experienced it as just wonder and awe, staring at a waterfall or
an amazing sky... A vaste sense of the being a part of everything... what we
feel all around us, is us.
