If your using MS products, just import it to SQL ?

Roger that. Big cities are cool, if you manage to overcome the
social problems that go with em, and you know me: Im totally
convinced that we can do so. I will only lightly touch on the
universal surveillance thing: if we confine that to big cities, then
everybody wins. Well sorta. {8^D You get smart systems
to direct traffic, catch perps, etc, and if you dont like uniserv,
you have the option of not having it: just dont live in the city.

This is my first contender. Im no fan of microsloth, but I
am good with excel and I want something that will work
well with it, OLEing, etc.

Ive done this to some extent. I download large files off the
web, copy it into Word, save it as text, feed it in a piece at
a time into excel. A pain in the arse, but one can use macros
and get it done. Thanks for the advice Emlyn! {8-] spike
